Joe Levickas

PROGRAM DIRECTOR, ARTS AT MICHIGAN
ASSISTANT DIRECTOR/ OFFICE OF NEW STUDENT PROGRAMS

levickas@umich.edu

I am proud to be in my thirteenth year at Arts at Michigan, and in my seventh as Program Director. My work with Arts at Michigan has offered great opportunities for me to support students in experiencing, understanding, and creating art. I want to give all Michigan students the opportunity to have transformative experiences with the arts, and I stand proudly behind Arts at Michigan's philosophy 'that the arts are essential to shaping our individual and collective identities and understanding what it means to be a citizen of a diverse multi-cultural society.'

I earned my BFA from University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign, and my MFA from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, both in Painting. I helped coordinate programs and exhibitions at Pratt Institute and The Cooper Union in New York, and at Manchester Craftsmen’s Guild in Pittsburgh. As an artist, curator and arts professional, the arts have been a driving force in my career, and I’m really excited to be working in a position that gives me new opportunities each day to share that passion. I love going to all sorts of arts events with my wife and sons, seeing offbeat films and theatre productions, and exhibitions. In Summer 2021, I founded Creal Microgallery, a breadbox-sized exhibition space in my front yard. I have a unique fondness for music from 1993-1994, a love of tacos, French food, pizza, and all types of cheese. And I’m a devoted New York Yankees fan.

Adrienne Frank

PROGRAM SPECIALIST, ARTS AT MICHIGAN
adfrank@umich.edu

I am an arts professional with a background in film curation, education, and event management. After finishing a B.S. in Electronic Media and Film Studies at Eastern Michigan University, I was hired at the Michigan Theater where I worked as a film programmer, internship manager, film camp teacher, and festival producer. From there I headed to University of Kansas to pursue an M.A. in Film and Media Studies, and have since worked for a variety of arts nonprofits across the country, most recently as the Programming Manager at the Jacob Burns Film Center in Pleasantville, NY. In my spare time I love engaging with art through a variety of mediums including film, theater, painting, comics, and writing. I’m passionate about making the arts accessible to students and I’m thrilled to be a part of the Arts at Michigan team!

Gabby Dias

PROGRAM ASSISTANT

I am a senior double majoring in Film/TV/Media and Creative Writing through the Residential College. I’m a big fan of all forms of art––film, tv, books, short stories, music, sketching, painting, anything, and everything! When I catch a break from schoolwork, I spend my time making oddly specific playlists, experimenting with recipes in the kitchen, playing guitar, and rewatching my comfort movies or tv shows. Some of my favs include Mamma Mia, Fleabag, and Sex Education.

Merry Shen

WEBSITE DESIGNER

I am a junior majoring in Computer Science and Psychology. I love watching movies and shows that pay really close attention to details (bonus points if they also have a really good soundtrack)! I also enjoy strolling around art museums when I visit different cities. The Art Institute of Chicago and the Met are some of my favorites.

Morgan Sieloff

GRAPHIC DESIGNER

I am an undergraduate student at the Stamps School of Art & Design focusing on graphic design and product design. In addition to my love for being creative, I love being surrounded by art and design. In my free-time, I enjoy watching movies and tv shows, cooking and baking, working out, and trying new restaurants in Ann Arbor.
